Kitchen and Laundry Room

There is a kitchen adjacent to the dining room. The window looking over the sea catches the attention upon entrance to the kitchen.

The name “Socrates’ Window” comes from Tevfik Fikret’s admiration of the famous philosopher.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the laundry room. With a separate door to the outside of the house, the laundry room houses a wash boiler, its furnace and hood just over it and a British washtub right next to them, all bearing the features of the 20th century architecture.
